What is an RF / EMI shielded room?
Clean Measurement Starts with a Noise-Free Environment
The biggest factor spoiling measurement results in laboratories is outside radio signals and electrical noise. An RF / EMI shielded room cuts this noise out.
The room is designed as a whole with panels, a gasketed door, honeycomb air filters and line filters, so measurements inside are repeatable and reliable.

What is the difference between a shielded room and an anechoic chamber?
A shielded room blocks outside signals. In an anechoic chamber, the inner surfaces are also covered with absorbers so reflections are eliminated too.
Can the internet be used inside the room?
Yes. Data lines enter the room over fiber optics through special penetrations that don't leak signals.
What level of shielding do I need?
It is determined by the sensitivity of the measurement. We recommend the right level after measuring the environment during the survey.
Can our existing room be converted into a shielded room?
In most cases, yes. Room dimensions, floor and door position are assessed during the survey.
