Why is it needed?

During an Examination, a Single Signal Creates Risk.

In a forensic examination, a device connecting to a network creates two problems: data changes or is deleted, and the reliability of the examination result becomes disputable.

A shielded examination room removes this risk. The examiner can work for hours with data extraction software while the device stays on and charging; no wireless signal can get in during that time.

We build single-station enclosures for private forensics firms and in-house investigation teams, and multi-station rooms for government laboratories.

Standards

Which Standards Do We Build To?

The room is designed to the standard your product or facility must meet and is tested against that standard at handover.

  • Your testing and usage needs are defined during the site survey
  • A test report is provided at handover
  • Annual maintenance and re-testing are available
  • EN 50147-1

Defines how to measure how well a shielded room blocks signals.

  • IEEE 299

Method for measuring the signal attenuation of shielded rooms and cabins.

  • ISO/IEC 17025

International accreditation standard for the competence of testing and calibration laboratories.

Is a single-person shielded enclosure enough?

It is sufficient for teams working with few devices and installs much faster. When the workload grows, a move to a room type can be planned.

Does the room help with ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation?

The laboratory obtains accreditation; we provide the infrastructure evidence the process needs by supplying the room's test report and technical documents.

Is charging a phone inside a problem?

No. The power line enters the room through filters that prevent signals from being carried.

Can the room be moved later?

Yes. Modular panels can be dismantled and reinstalled at the new location; the room is re-measured after installation.
