What is an EEG shielded room?
Weak Signals Need a Quiet Environment
An EEG device measures very weak signals at the microvolt level. Interference from elevators, mains lines and other medical devices mixes into these measurements and spoils the recordings.
A shielded EEG room cuts out external interference, so measurements are clean and repeatable. Inside, it is designed like an ordinary, spacious examination room for the patient.

Ambient interference is measured during the site survey; shielding is defined based on this measurement and the equipment used.
