What level of shielding does an EEG room need?
The interference level in the hospital environment is measured during the survey; shielding is defined based on this measurement and the equipment used.
Will the room be uncomfortable for the patient?
No. The interior surfaces are finished like an ordinary examination room; lighting and ventilation are planned for comfort.
Can an existing examination room be converted?
In most cases, yes. Room dimensions and door position are inspected during the survey.
Which chamber suits medical device manufacturers?
Depending on product size, a semi-anechoic chamber with a 3 m test distance or a pre-test chamber is usually recommended.
